Roofing Cost Calculator uses public national cost guides and contractor-range benchmarks to create planning estimates. Current source classes include HomeGuide, Homewyse, This Old House, BestRoofingEstimates, and metal-roof contractor pricing articles.
What the calculator does not do
It does not claim to be a binding contractor quote, does not inspect decking, does not know local code requirements, and does not replace a roofer’s site visit. Every estimate is a planning range.
Updates and corrections
Cost ranges are reviewed as public pricing data changes. Correction requests should include the exact page, material, source URL, and what number appears inaccurate.
